What We Do

Agritourism
Projects & Events
At the Agritourism Foundation, our core focus is on empowering smallholder farmers, particularly women farmers and youth, through the development and promotion of agritourism. We work closely with farmer communities, farmer organizations, and local agritourism organizations to implement hands-on projects that foster entrepreneurial conduct.
By leveraging the potential of agricultural locations, we create opportunities for farm products and services to thrive in new and profitable markets. Through our collaborative efforts and support, we aim to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and contribute to the sustainable growth of agritourism, ultimately benefiting rural communities and enhancing the overall well-being of the regions we serve.
Projects & Events

Tree Planting: We plant trees as a legacy for our environment and ourselves and help to protect the earth. On average, we plant 55000 trees every year and also raise nurseries in local communities to facilitate effective tree planting.
We are aware of the effects of climate crisis, and we are determined to plant as many plants as possible to save the planet Earth.

Water Action: According to Wateraid, our climate is changing at an alarming rate, and it’s making it even harder for the world’s poorest people to get clean water. More frequent and extreme flooding is polluting fragile water sources; longer droughts are drying up springs. People need a reliable supply of water that keeps pumping through flood, drought, and natural disasters. Because with clean water, they can stay disease free, go to school, earn a living, and be better prepared for whatever the future brings.

Food and Drink Festival: The annual Food and Drink Festival is a vibrant celebration that highlights the tireless efforts of farmers and local food and drink producers, along with their exceptional offerings. This event goes beyond showcasing produce, featuring a wide range of entertainment, culinary experiences such as tastings and master classes, comedy shows, dancing competitions, stage plays, seminars, and thrilling outdoor grills. It is a comprehensive extravaganza that delights attendees with a diverse array of entertainment options.

Mr & Miss Agritourism Beauty Pageant: The winners of Mr. & Miss Agritourism serve as role models for young people, dedicating their entire year to educating and raising awareness about agritourism. Unlike traditional beauty queens, they empower all contestants and utilize various platforms, from the UN to schools and rural areas, to address agricultural issues and shape public opinion and policy. Throughout their reign, they champion specific projects and advocate for agritourism and other global matters.

Farm Heroes’ Reality TV: Farm Heroes Reality TV is a unique reality television series aimed at breaking down the walls of academia. By capitalizing on the widespread popularity of reality TV, the show seeks to educate people about farming. Contestants will reside in a farm house, tasked with growing their own food and engaging in farming and cooking challenges. They will also attempt to sell their produce at a local market. Through this innovative format, the show aims to raise awareness about the origins of food and production materials.
